May 15, 2014 — Insurance agent James D. Sutton, CPCU, AAI, CIC led the list of officers elected today by members of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of New York, Inc. New York’s oldest insurance producer trade association installed Sutton as chair of the board at its 132nd Annual Business Meeting, held at the Hyatt Place in Riverhead. May 5, 2014 - New York insurance agencies’ opinions of the insurers they represent are little changed from year-ago levels, an insurance producer trade group reported today. The Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of New York (IIABNY) said that the IIABNY Industry Index, a measure of agents’ and brokers’ satisfaction with insurers, rose for personal insurance companies and fell for those providing commercial insurance.
